NO PICTURES!?!

So we are packing our things and getting ready to move into our new apartment in just nine days. I am the packer. For those of you who don't know this is our 10th move since we were married Nov. 30th 2002. That is not even seven years yet. I believe I am an exceptional packer and mover at that. I am very organized and can find anything even while moving. Unfortunately while I was at work Jeff packed the computer stuff and we cannot for the life of us find the cord. We have so many fun pictures and memories to show and tell you about. Without this cord we have no connection to upload. Big Huge Bummer! We will be moving July 15th and hopefully we will find it shortly thereafter. Thanks for your patience. We can't wait to share about our recent fun we've had. Only a couple of weeks and we'll have ..... PICTURES!!!

Utah, Yay or Nay??

So the same day I find out the "Lump" I found turned out to be two lymph nodes-Yay, I get hit by a dumb Utah driver. Anyone who has been here five minutes knows people who live in Utah must have "known someone" who just gave them a driver's license. Idiots here! So Here's a list of what I've come up with about Utah-Yay or Nay.

Things I like about Utah, Yay:
  • That living this far from family has helped Jeff and I grow closer together and work with each other even better than before. I love you Honey. Now finish with school so we can BOOK IT OUT OF HERE! Just kidding.
  • My Job, I love my job. Some days it's not something I'd write home about but I really enjoy it.
  • The people I work with. I truly look forward to see the wonderful people I work with.
  • Having some family here is nice, although we hardly ever see them.
  • The beautiful scenery, the mountains, the green grass, yes I said green. We don't have that in Az. It's yellow and it hurts to walk on it barefoot. lol
  • I love the pretty flowers in the Spring. I didn't know trees could have so many flowers!
  • I don't miss family drama, sorry I love you ALL-but we know it's there! I love everyone and I het to have no hard feelings and no bad feelings about anyone because I hear nothing up here. Quite relaxing I must say ... ahhhh

Things I so dislike I want to Run all the way HOME!!! Nay:
  • The Snow
  • Icy roads
  • Utah Drivers in the snow, rain, hail, sunny day, any dumb day of the week!

Yes this is the damage the dumb lady did to my car!

  • Health Insurance-CRAP!!! You pay out the butt for the insurance and with the Insurance!
  • Housing market-I sawful here! Homes are so much smaller than Az and waaay more expensive. What's up!?! We make less money here too, go figure!
  • One and a half months of "summer".And I would have to say no we're not there yet. It's June but not summer-Weird!
  • Not having a babysitter, having to pay for a sitter-WHAT!?! Where's my mother!?! I really appreciate the people that helped us with our kids when we lived in Az. THANK YOU!!
  • When they cut the grass it's still 5 freakin inches tall. This is "cut?" ugh!
  • Utahns complain about a water shortage. But if you drive around at about 7am or 7pm every lawn, and I mean every single lawn is not only watering itself but also the street, sidewalk and any passing cars, bikes or people. Even if it's been raining, or STILL raining -you will find this. Stop complaining and Do something about it!!!
  • I hate the "rain" of pollen for about 2 months in the "spring time". Worth it for a few weeks of pretty flowers on trees...No.
  • I miss my family dearly! All of my family. This is the most recent picture I have of any family. We need more pictures of Family!!

You decide if I like it here or not. Thanks for letting me get my feelings out!! I will survive while I'm here only because I know there is an end to it, then the heat of Az. Oh Boy-Yikes!

Ugh Braces!

So I got my braces on. They hurt so bad for the first week but I'm doing better now. Until today! I got my two baby teeth pulled, with the kids there. I wish we lived with our family again!!! So they were whining about the length of time it was taking. It took about an hour from when we walked in to leaving. Not bad for pulling two teeth. So the shots were the worst, front of the mouth gums!?! Yikes!! I got through it and they're out. Now my mouth can really start to move. Unfortunately I can't eat anything now. My mouth is bleeding like crazy and I love to eat!!!
Obviously I'm bummed and it's hard to have the kids and not be able to talk to them because I have gauze in the front of my mouth. Frustrating! I don't have pictures but I will start posting when my teeth are actually changing for the better-NOT getting WORSE!!!

Blake's Preschool Graduation

Blake and Kierlyn
Kierlyn wasn't much for the graduation festivities, this is what happens when it's at a park!
Kierlyn and Baby still playing and not paying attention to her brother.
Advanced Preschool Teachers, bother expecting in a couple of months, and their class 2009.
Blake and his little crush Emma, one of the teacher's daughters-also in the class.
Walking and Talking together
Oh no mom interrupted them.
Blake is officially ready for kindergarten. I'm so excited. He will start in the fall of this year. I cannot believe he's old enough. Oh my heavens. Here are a few facts about him right now. He's still very shy, but getting better, he is very technical and has to know how things work not just because. He likes to figure things out for himself and is very handy. He takes after his grandpa's in this. He knows the different screwdrivers and is a big help to his dad. He is getting really good at writing his name and we are very proud of the accomplishments he has had in preschool. If he was in an all boys school he would learn a lot more, I know this already. He loves sitting by the girls!! He knew all of the girls in his class and one or two boys. What a goof. We love you Son!

Family Time in Arizona, long awaited!

These are pictures taken from our visit to Az May 16th-17th. It was Waaay fast. The purpose of the trip was to celebrate my Grandparent's 50th Wedding Anniversary. Happy Anniversary Grandma and Grandpa!!! Love you!
Park Family
Siblings
Sisters, Close enough anyway!
Sisters again.
Dastrup Family, The Happy Couple of 50 yrs. front and center!
It was so fun seeing everyone in Arizona. We miss everyone there so much! We are excited to one day finally live close again. Until then these visits will have to hold us over. We love you guys!!

In Two Days, only Two seconds for Kierlyn...

Kierlyn's First "Bang-Up" Job!
So I was going to give her a bang trim but Blake needed my help for a second. I came back and she'd "trimmed" an inch off of her bangs. Little stink. The first thing she said, "It ok Mom, I still Pitty." I just had to laugh. She knows not to do it again. But she didn't get much of a punishment from me.
Practice with the coach/AKA:Playing until it's your turn to catch, before the game started.
Watching the runner, no ball for him to catch yet.
Kierlyn's picture of Blake, so she can't aim well but those mountains are beautiful!
Our awesome batter! He really hit them out there!
Made it to first, never would run to second but was safe everytime for first base. He gets way to shy to run more bases and get attention!
Another time to bat! Ready, this time he freakin' nailed it!
Handsom!
Blake's in T-Ball now and he really likes it except when he feels like people are watching. This poses a problem but each week he does a little better. Atleast I didn't have to hold his hand to all of the bases like last game, but he only ran to first, it's a start! He looks so cute doing it!

SuperCross 2009 Yeah Baby!!

Here's Blake after we surprised him with the fact that we were going to Supercross. We handed him his MX Gear and he was stoked!
Keeping warm. It was chilly but atleast there wasn't any rain. It rained all day until it was time for us to be at Supercross! Rock On!!
We were very excited to be there! The kids were even more excited. Look at those faces. LOL
The final 400's race. 20 laps of standing and screaming! Thanks for the awesome race James, Bubba, Stewart and Chad Reed. It was so Awesome!!!
