Family Pictures

Here are our Family Pictures. We take them very serious! J/K

I liked this a lot but Kierlyn wasn't looking. She did this in most pictures. Plus Jeff is a little awkward.

Here's the one we blew up and framed for our house.

Blake 7.5 years old

Kierlyn's 5 year picture Another cute pic of her but...she's not looking. lol

Sladester 3 months old

Our happy, smiley boy!

Our three wonderful trouble makers!

Another pose of our adorable kiddos!

Jeff and I, it was windy and he was avoiding my hair, which didn't make for very many good pictures.

That's our family 2011 Baby!

Happy Halloween...in December? Better late than never!

Here's our Family on Halloween. Kierlyn's a cheerleader, I'm Dr. Tiffany, Slade's a fireman and Blake's a police officer. Jeff didn't dress up so he took the picture. We had fun going around our neighborhood and then to family's home's.

Slade has the best pouty face ever known to man. He tears at your heart strings!!!

(By now you've noticed the date, I guess it was wrong on my camera, go figure.)
This is Slade and his, get ready for it, Great Great Grandma!!! The only one left. When Blake was born he had four Great Great Grandparents! All on my family's side. Jeff's only blood Grandma passed away before Kierlyn was born:(

This is after Blake's Thanksgiving program at school. He knew all of the songs but let stage freight get the best of him so he focused in on the cute girl next to him to chat with instead. Stud or stinker???

On a side note look at how handsome my husband is here! Whew Helllllooooo!!! Lucky Lady!

The House

Here are some pictures of our house. Just some highlights, not everything but I wanted my friends that are too far to visit to be able to see the house a little bit so here it is:)

This is our family room, and our gigantic couch that fits all of us a little better.

This is Slade's/guest room with our old queen bed in it. He still sleeps in our room but when he gets a little bigger he'll be in here.
I know it's silly but look at these ceilings, they're so high! On the left there is a half bath and a full bath and a game cupboard, on the right Slade's room, a linen closet, and Kierlyn's room. You're looking in to Blake's room staright ahead.

Our kitchen, the drapery was there before we moved in and we've just been too busy to change it.

The other side of our kitchen and our pantry that we love love love!

Living room, that's right my Utah friends our focal point is the South Jordan Temple! How da ya like them apples?

Jeff's side of the closet-sideways of course. lol. Too lazy to change it, sorry:)

My side of the closet, we have so much more space now!

Our bedroom with a KING bed, so much better than our queen. I love my husband but I love to spread out when I sleep too, so does he and now we don't kick eachother:)

The baby's part of our room.

Here's Kierlyn riding her bike without training wheels, for the first time, in our backyard.

Time Flies!

Baby Slade is getting so big. It's amazing how time flies. He's a very good baby and besides the feedings every 3-4 hours during the day and night he sleeps the majority of the time. I have done pretty well with the amount of sleep I'm getting at night. Sure we have our occasional long nights when he has a tummy ache or just needs his mama but otherwise he does great! Blake and Kierlyn have been wonderful siblings and helpers! They love their baby brother but they are so good to only be helpful and never bother him while he's asleep. i think this along with keeping him home for his first month has kept him from being too sick. It's still very early, obviously but he's had nothing more than a bit of a stuffy nose and tummy ache. We've been very lucky in this area. Jeff's working at Walgreen's and although we thought nights we would be perfect Jeff doesn't like them and neither do I on that note. We were on opposite schedules when he was working nights and he'd sleep on the couch all day which was hard on me and him. It's difficult to keep the kids out of the main room in the house and since I can't, nor can I keep them silent all day Jeff didn't sleep well either. But he was the one who preferred the couch over our bedroom so there you go. He didn't get a lot of customers at night and he does better working with people. Nights, they say, are better for those who want to work without a lot of patient/customer contact. Since Jeff changed his mind on the times he wanted he's had to rotate a lot to a variety of stores to get his hours. He just found out although it isn't the best store he'll be assigned to a more permanent location very soon. It isn't all that close to us which makes his commute bad if it's a regular 8-4 or 9-5 day. It's better to have him home at night with the family, we've missed him a lot these last few years. Well we're doing well and everyone is healthy at the moment. I've attached some pictures that my wonderful Aunt Angie took of him for his one month and then for his blessing this last Sunday, 9-25-11.

His tuxedo for his blessing day was a little big but with the coat that had tails he swam in it-literally. Angie did her absolute best to try to get him in a good photo but it didn't go well. Although I think he looks so sweet in his tux, minus the coat, asleep it kind of freaks me out. I had a wonderful friend that lost her baby as an infant and in these pictures Slade looks a little...too relaxed we'll say;) He is precious and yes he's alive and well in this picture! \/

Baby #3 is HERE!!!

Well Slade Jeffrey Robertson arrived Friday afternoon at 4:15PM. Labor was about 18 hours long but an epidural after about 10 hours saved us all:) He was taken to the NICU here at Good Sam, which is Phoenix Children's Hospital, after a brief holding from Mommy. I was able to join him more fully when I was released Sunday morning and have been staying with him, in his room since. He's doing great. We were supposed to go home Monday but a nurse's lack of care made something as simple as a car seat test turn into another 5 days in the NICU for observation. The monitors he's hooked up to-which have glitches and aren't accurate at times said that Slade stopped breathing multiple times for 20 seconds or more while doing a 1 hour long car seat test. This test is performed on all premies leaving the hospital and somehow he was sucking on his binkie the entire time, was awake and we were watching him the entire hour. The nurse wasn't in the room ever during the day except to record the findings of the monitors on Slade which were inaccurate since he never lost his binkie or turned blue or anything that should have happened to a baby that stopped breathing for more than 20 seconds. So now we wait in the hospital. I've had a couple of really bad break downs over not being able to be with all of my kids together-but because I have the best husband and mother a person could ask for the children are coming to me so I can play with them and help Blake with homework. I'm so stoked. Today is a great day! BTW Slade's doing awesome! They've done tons of tests on him and everything comes back saying he's healthy and well! Thanks for all of the love and support!

Arizona Baby!!!

Well we're finally here in Arizona. We are staying with my Grandma and Grandpa Dastrup in Phoenix. It's been great to be back home. We've really missed being so close to family.

We put an offer in on a house in Peoria that we're very excited about. But since we pushed the close date out as far as possible-45 days, we've tried to keep the house a bit of a secret. We are so stoked about it though and since Jeff passed his very difficult State law exam for Pharmacy we feel it's a little more in reach and we want to tell the whole world!!! Well at least the sweet friends of ours that read our blog. We move-in Aug 5th. Just in time to get the house unpacked before our new little guy makes his grand entrance into the world. Lucky for us the house doesn't have a pool but has everything else and more that we wanted. Plus it's very close to my Aunt and Uncle, that do have a pool. We've been attending our new ward to get the kids more acquainted with friends before school starts Aug 15th. We love the new ward, everyone has been so friendly and there are tons of kids-Yay!!!

The Pregnancy is going well. Except for my super long infusions that always have their own set of problems every week. Besides for all the poking and long waits in OB Triag they are going very well. The baby has given himself the duty of trying to kick the monitors the entire time I'm in the hospital and I must say he's becoming a professional. The nurses are impressed with his longevity and his other talent-to move off the heart monitor before they leave the room.

Jeff is stoked to have this test behind him and is excited to get the NAPLEX done also. That is the national test and the pass rate is 99% from his school so he's less concerned about it.

The kids are enjoying the pool here at my Grandparent's, and would live in it if that were possible. Blake has really blossomed into a little swimmer and now jumps off the diving board and swims to the side without any help. We are so proud of him and his new found talent. Since we bought him new goggles he's really excelled and loves swimming more so than years past. Kierlyn, we're still working on. She's not a big fan of swimming, she prefers floating the best. I mean this in all forms: floaties, life jackets, rafts, rings, whatever suits her taste for that day. She's a princess, that doesn't like to work...at all:)

Well as I've said things are going very well for us. Besides the heat we're doing fantastic. We can't wait to be able to park in our garage once we get the house. The cars get so hot sitting outside all day, plus leather BURNS! lol. Well we hope you're doing well! We miss all of our friends in Utah and think and pray about you often. We're sending lots of love your way!!!

Arizona Wedding

Joel and Isabel Robertson. Congratulations you two!

The Bridesmaids waiting for the bride to exit with her cute little husband!

Blake and Elijah, cousins and best buddies!

Our sweet kids at the Temple. Thank you Julie for watching them while we were inside.

We tried to take a couple of family pictures. Buuuut since Nana was there Kierlyn needed to have her. This is not Nana's fault (Jeff's mom), Kierlyn just adores her and can't be without her so that's Jeff's mom next to him. lol. It makes for a great picture memory!

I love love love this picture of the boys in the family. They look so good, matching and all!Isabel, Julie, me and Kelly, the Robertson ladies. Well Julie's married into a dif name but we'll pretend.

Kierlyn and her cousin Marley. We told them to hold hands for a couple of pictures and they continued it throughout the night. It was so sweet. They had a ball together. Aren't their dresses beautiful!?! My in-laws picked them out, they looked so pretty in them!

These girls were so cute dancing together!
